When Sky Atlantic / HBO approached the dozen team with their plan for the launch of Season Five of this hugely popular TV show, there were a couple of issues: no venue, no concept and no time. With just 30 days until the launch there was a LOT to do.
Working closely with the Sky Atlantic Executive Producer, dozen helped source a venue, design the site layout and bring together at short notice the necessary infrastructure; from tents and toilets to trackway and turf. A robust and meticulously planned build schedule was required to facilitate safely constructing- and craning in- everything to the moat of UNESCO World Heritage site the Tower of London, in line with CDM Regulations. With all the stars from the show attending, over 3000 die-hard fans expected and a live satellite uplink what could go wrong?! Thankfully nothing - the event was a great success!
